Created in the early 90's BioCytex a French biotech company became part of the Stago Group in 1994. BioCytex affiliate is specialised in the development of standardised flow cytometry kits in the field of Haemostasis. Since the foundation of BioCytex in the close proximity of the University and Hospital Complex of La Timone / La Conception in Marseille (France), the need of standardisation in flow cytometry analysis still remains a topic of concern. Inter-laboratory reproducibility, day to day reproducibility and positivity and/or negativity threshold determination are a real need that can be addressed by the use of quantitative flow cytometry application kits. This is the expertise offered by BioCytex. After the success of our first generation of products with the QIFIKIT, we strove to improve and tune our quantitative flow cytometry technology and applied it to the analysis of platelets (PLATELET line), leukocytes and red blood cells (CELLQUANT / REDQUANT lines).

美国Plant Cell Technology公司为商业及研究用植物组织培养实验室和植物种植者开发、生产了旗舰产品PPM™ (Plant Preservative Mixture)，它是一种广谱抗微生物剂，可以杀死细菌和真菌细胞，防止真菌孢子的萌发，并在较高浓度下能消除内源性污染的外植体。研究表明PPM™活性成分可以渗透过真菌或细菌细胞壁，抑制柠檬酸循环和电子传递链等中心代谢循环中的关键酶的活性，并且可以抑制培养基中的单糖和氨基酸向真菌和细菌细胞的运输。PPM™能有效地抑制植物细胞和植物组织培养中的通过空气、水、人传播的微生物污染及内源性污染，而不会影响体外种子发芽、愈伤组织增殖和愈伤组织的再生。并且，PPM™具有热稳定性，可以和培养基一起灭菌，同时比常用抗生素价更低廉，可以作为植物组织培养基的标准成分。

 

The principal PCT scientist involved in the development of the PPM™ application is Dr. Assaf Guri. Dr. Assaf Guri holds degrees in genetics, applied genetics and plant breeding from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Michigan State University in the US. Before joining Plant Cell Technology, Inc., Dr. Guri worked with the Volcani Agricultural Research Center in Israel, Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan and DNAP in New Jersey.

R&D Systems位于美国的明尼苏达州，一直致力于生物制品的开发与生产。公司成立之初主要生产用于医院及临床应用的血控品。1977年，公司推出第一个产品--富血小板血浆质控品；1981年，公司成为全球第二家生产含血小板全血控品的供应商。40多年的发展中，R&D Systems仍持续开发各种血控品产品。

 

1985年，作为公司推出的第一个科研试剂产品，也是全球第一家将该产品进行商业化生产的产品，R&D Systems成功上市了TGF-beta1蛋白。作为胞外信号分子，TGF-beta1蛋白在多种细胞中进行表达，并作为胞外信号分子参与免疫功能，细胞增殖和细胞分化等生物学过程。该产品推出后，公司陆续从生物材料中纯化了几种细胞因子产品并推向市场。天然蛋白类产品的成功推广，加速了R&D Systems在细胞因子市场的开拓。公司于1985年形成Growth Factor事业部（现Biotechnology事业部）。Biotechnology事业部的目标是生产和营销重组人细胞因子。与天然来源提取蛋白相比较，DNA重组技术生产的蛋白产品其成本更低，产量更高，完全摆脱原料的限制。1989年，Biotechnology事业部开始开发抗细胞因子的单克隆和多克隆抗体，并于1990年开发了第一个ELISA试剂盒。

Aquatic Diagnostics依托于Stirling大学，为世界范围内的客户提供渔业健康管理产品。Aquatic Diagnostics公司主要研发和生产单抗试剂、抗体偶联试剂、快速检测试剂盒，主要应用方向为病原体检测（检测经济鱼类的致病原，如AquaMab-P和Rapid Kits）和鱼类免疫力筛查（AquaMab-F和AquaMab-C）。

 

Aquatic Diagnostics is an international biotechnology company operating within the Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling. Aquatic Diagnostics develops and markets reagents (monoclonal antibodies and antibody conjugates) and Rapid Kits that can be used to improve fish health management. These products identify pathogens causing disease and enable screening of fish immunity.

 

Our Fish Health Management Products Detect:

1) Economically important fish pathogens (AquaMab-P and Rapid Kits)

2) Fish antibodies to monitor immune response in a variety of fish species (AquaMab-F and AquaMab-C)
